This course will cover the basics of land navigation from map reading to light field work. It is the pre-cursor to the next levels of land navigation courses and must be completed before moving on to our our Level 3 Advanced Mountain land navigation courses.
In this course the student will be engaged in land navigation in a relatively flat environment. They will use all their tools to navigate from location to location. The student will be able to collect valuable data which they can add to their tool box of land navigation abilities.
