Customer Policy and Terms

General Business Information:

As a small business, we strive to provide a positive experience for every customer. However, please be aware that there are certain limitations and factors beyond our control.

Supply Chain and Shipping Delays:

Due to ongoing supply chain challenges, including delays in international shipments, all orders may experience longer wait times. Political and logistical uncertainties may also affect shipping times, leading to potential delays in order fulfillment.

Stock and Order Fulfillment:

  • Scopes: Availability can vary. Scopes are drop-shipped and typically ship within 1-3 days. US Optics scopes are custom-ordered and may have a lead time of 4-6 months. Most Leupold Mark 5 scopes are generally in stock but may occasionally be backordered. Orders are usually shipped within one business day.

  • Microchip Items: Products that use microchips may have extended wait times. We are happy to accept orders for these items and will fulfill them as soon as possible.

Refund and Return Policy:

  • Shipping and Stocking Delays: Refunds are not available due to shipping or stocking delays.

  • Incorrect Orders: Refunds are not offered for special orders, pre-orders, or custom orders.

  • Restocking Fees: If a refund for a special or pre-order is granted, a restocking fee of 35% will apply. Refunds through PayPal or credit card are subject to a 35% restocking/handling/processing fee. ETransfer refunds are subject to a 5% restocking/handling fee.

Warranty and Support:

  • Warranty issues are handled directly by the manufacturers. We support brands known for their prompt and courteous service.

  • Special orders may only be returned with prior authorization. If authorized, a restocking fee will apply.

Shipping and Handling:

  • Processing Time: Orders generally ship within 1-5 days, but delays may occur if we are awaiting stock.

  • Shipping Methods: We use USPS Priority (2-3 business days) for shipments within the USA and First Class for international orders.

  • Shipping Issues: We do not refund orders due to backordering or delays caused by weather, customs, or other factors. We do not cover return shipping or replacement shipping unless the error is on our part.

  • Theft and Loss: We cannot prevent theft or loss. If you are concerned about missing items, please select signature confirmation and add insurance. Contact us if you need assistance with these options. During lockdowns, signature services may not be available, and it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the shipment.

Course Policies:

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds for courses due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. We will attempt to reschedule your course but cannot guarantee availability.

  • Non-Attendance: If you cannot attend your course, you are responsible for finding a replacement or forfeiting the course fees. We will make efforts to fill the spot but cannot guarantee it.

  • Refund Requests: Extreme circumstances may warrant a refund, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Service charges, processing fees, and bank charges will not be refunded.

  • Course Rescheduling: Funds are not carried forward to the next year. If you miss your course without adequate notice, you forfeit your fees.

  • Travel Insurance: We recommend purchasing trip insurance if traveling from a distance. We will work to reschedule in case of flight cancellations but will not refund course fees.

Booking Policy:

  • Booking Requirements: A 50% booking fee is required to secure a course. The remaining balance is due before the course begins.

  • Course Conduct: No alcohol, drugs, or marijuana are permitted during the course. Violations will result in immediate termination and removal from the course.

Liability:

By enrolling in a course, you accept full responsibility for any accidents or harm that may occur during the course or related travel. Rangetech and its parent company are not liable for any travel costs or unforeseen circumstances affecting students.
